When I first arrived in Grinnell, Iowa, it could be hard to find ingredients beyond the standard midwest fare. In 2012, however, things have changed–for the better. On this page of my blog, I offer a guide to the stores that have found their way onto my circuit of must-stops. It’s a map of the diversity that has slowly crept into Iowa, a good thing, in my mind, for the kitchen, and otherwise.
